After buying their first home together back in 2011, Simon and Sian have gradually been updating and modernising their three-bedroom terraced house – but with mixed results. Some major bodging in their kitchen and dining room has left them with a permanently dripping tap, mouldy sealant and some very lumpy lino. And living in a half-baked home is starting to get them down.
Luckily the Cowboys and Bodge Jobs team are on hand to teach them some much-needed DIY skills and put them back on the path to creating their perfect home. Builder Martin Gonzalez gets back to basics with the floor and gives Simon a lesson in lino. Dan learns how to transform furniture using wallpaper. Meanwhile designer Ed Robinson shows Laura and Sian how to create their own scented candles at home.
Ed’s got a bold plan in mind for the revamped dining room, including a navy blue living wall of plants. Laura’s having second thoughts about his daring design will it be thumbs up or down when Sian and Simon finally see the results?
