After living in a caravan for three years, Dustie and Elsa were thrilled when they eventually moved into their own two bedroom house. It was a house that Dustie wanted to turn into a home, with a limited budget and an eye for a bargain. Dustie managed to decorate the whole of her house using paint rescued from a skip. Strapped for cash, yet desperate to make her kitchen cosy, she bought some second hand units online. But when they arrived with door handles and parts missing, Dustie was left in a mess.
So Laura, Dan, Ed and Gareth stepped in to solve some of her problems and put a spring back into her step. Dan investigated the world of kitchen cupboards and Laura came up with an extra idea that meant Dustie could sleep peacefully once more.
In this update episode, designer Ed Robinson returns to see how Dustie is getting on with her new kitchen and is pleased to find that she still loves it. So much so that she’s been inspired to decorate her daughter’s Elsa’s bedroom too... Ed transforms this space, giving it a mini-makeover with Dustie’s help.
