Episode 5 - Sandhurst

When single mum of three Isobel Griffiths bought her home she always intended to create a special bedroom for her oldest son Harry who is profoundly disabled.

The plan was to extend to create a family kitchen diner and new bedroom and bathroom for Harry kitted out to accommodate his disability and make his – and Isobel’s- life easier.

Unfortunately Isobel’s build went belly up after employing a cowboy builder. Massively frustrated and let down Isobel has tried to do as much as she can to get her home finished, but 16 months on she’s run out of funds and energy. Thankfully our dream team Dan and Laura plus Edward Robinson the designer and Gareth the builder are on the case!

Dan, Laura and Edward are going to help Isobel and her boys get back on track by completing an inspiring bedroom and bathroom for Harry. With time against them, Dan gets on the case investigating where it all went wrong. Laura is keen to move the build forward to relieve Isobel of stress and worry. Meanwhile Edward focuses on creating space and access in Harry’s room to accommodate both his wheelchair facilities and love of trains.
