The newlywed couple dreamt of raising a family and bought a home with plans to renovate it.This would be the love nest where they could begin in earnest, their IVF treatment for a much longed for baby.
Unfortunately they employed a cowboy builder who left their home in shambles and their dreams in tatters. When the team first met the Grays, their house looked like a building site and the stress of the build not to mention financial difficulties has taken its toll on this long suffering couple.
Having enlisted Vicky’s help, Edward decides to follow a contemporary yet traditional path, but will Vicky like it? Laura takes David shopping, how well does he know Vicky’s tastes? Plus Dan visits an architect to find out why detailed plans are key to successful build projects.
With the help of designer Ed Robinson and builder Gareth Hooson, the team managed to help move the build forward.
Now Laura and Edward are back and they find that the Grays have been inspired to continue the work and have started on the kitchen and en suite bathroom. The duo give the couple confidence to think out of their comfort zone, with design tips and ideas to create the home of their dreams.
