They hoped the build would be completed in 4 months – but over a year later, it still wasn’t finished. This bodge job exacerbated an already stressful time for the vulnerable family – Georgia was expecting their first child, and Gabriel’s father died during the build.
John, Laura and Edward meet a tall order and strive to create a space where the couple can find sanctuary after months of them living in a house that doesn’t feel like a home. The task proves a challenge as Laura tries to track down a carpet fitter last minute, John has to pull in some favours for a shower tray and Edward opens up the bedroom with some DIY artwork and tactile storage.
