For years, they have been dealing with a very embarrassing problem the smell of raw sewage wafting through their house. They aren’t sure what is causing it and haven’t got the time or the money to solve it but as a result, Sally and Gavin are too mortified to have visitors to their home. This problem also impacts on their long term goal to become foster parents how can they entertain the idea of a home visit from foster agencies when they have a nasty whiff in the air?
The team come to the rescue, Laura uncovers the emotional toll that this foul smelling situation has had on the family. Dan explores the world of pipes using high tech cameras and state of the art techniques, finding out along the way, the most efficient way to keep them clean. Chris Payne our builder and his team find a simple way to keep the smell at bay and plumb in a brand new bathroom suite whilst Designer Edward Robinson sets about creating a bright welcoming room that any foster child would feel at home in.
