Coping with a personal loss as well as a build that hasn’t gone to plan has really affected Helen and Michael Salberg. They had big plans to extend their house and were looking forward to a larger kitchen living area but these plans have been put on hold and now all the house represents is unhappiness for Helen; she’s fallen out of love with her home and has lost any inspiration or motivation to continue.
However, help is on hand and Laura Hamilton is going to try and get some life back into this build project and push it forward plus Dan Lobb is going to take a closer look at the costs involved when undertaking any sort of building work. Dan’s also going to help the build team; headed up by Chris Payne, to fix some of the problems they’re facing… a leaking roof and a damp problem! Meanwhile designer Edward Robinson has a difficult job on his hands by trying to revamp the hallway can he persuade Helen to ditch the neutrals and go bolder and will they actually get the work completed in such a small cramped area?!
